Reference

The Regera is a hypercar built around one idea: effortless power. Its name is Swedish for "to reign," and its shape backs that up, low, wide, and smooth, with sharp intakes cut into soft curves. Before touching any materials, I studied how light moves across those curves, where the carbon fibre shows through, and how the red changes from bright highlight to deep shadow.

Shading

A red car is harder than it looks. Push it too bright and it turns cartoonish; too dark and it loses its shape. I built the paint to hold a rich, deep red in the shadows while keeping the highlights clean, then gave the carbon fibre, glass, rubber, and wheels their own materials, so each surface catches light in its own way.

Texturing

Hypercars are all about detail up close. I worked on the smaller surfaces that make the car believable, like the badges, the vents, the brake calipers, and the fine grain in the paint, so the renders hold up even in tight crops.

Lighting & Render

Regera needed warmth. I placed it in a soft, warm studio with a large overhead light that stretches reflections along the body and lets the shadows fade gently into the floor. The goal was a quiet, confident image, more gallery than race track.
